Boxercise
Strengthen your body and enhance your fitness with a high energy workout.
What is Boxercise?
Boxercise first began in the UK in 1992 and is based upon training principles that have existed for hundreds of years. It combines aerobic and anaerobic energy systems in a manner that not only ensures a diverse workout, but also enhances sports specific senses, including hand-eye co-ordination, balance and timing.
The class is based on the training concepts that boxers use to keep fit. Classes can take a variety of formats but typically will involve shadowboxing, pad work, skipping, press-ups, shuttle-runs and sit-ups. Boxercise is guaranteed to be fun, energetic and motivational.
